I think Couchsurfing is a priceless experience to know more about other cultures and people all over the world. If you travel just as an 'normal' tourist, you will never see those special local places, never feel the real local atmosphere. Those amazing moments often create new friendships and I really appreciate that.

I'm always happy to welcome people at mine...but don't forget... couchsurf is not an opportunity for free vacation! I receive a lot of requests for 1 week or more...don't get me wrong...i know BoraBora isn't the cheapest place but i'm not the red cross either..life is very expensive over here..so after a few bad experiences...you wanna stay longer than a week?No problem but do not abuse our polynesian hospitality
