I'm a cliché: I want to travel around the world to see stunning places, meet different people and learn about their cultures, share experiences and enrich me as a human being.
Although born and raised in Brazil, I also have an Italian passport due to my grandfather (what's awesome, then I can travel/live freely in South America and EU). At the moment I'm living in Berlin - no words to describe, just totally blown away by this place.
Once I heard from a person who now I consider my second father about the difference between the traveler and the tourist, the traveler loves the journey more than the goal, loves the experience and adventure. The traveler doesn't want to put himself in the hands of other people, as the tourist who seeks to solve all his problems, perhaps because he doesn't know yet prove the beauty of "walk through" instead of "make yourself go." The traveler part with an empty heart and travels the world to fill it, watching, learning and experimenting. The tourist sees and purchase. In short, I consider couchsurfing a great opportunity to "walk through" and learn about others cultures.
