Hello!
My name is Letícia and I am originally from Brasil. After living in New York for 2 years doings a masters, I recently moved to Dallas (TX) to pursue a PhD. I study interactive media in public spaces, especially intersections of culture and technology and the relationships between humans and machines. I also create interactive pieces, and lately I have been working on a piece about translation and the experience of being a foreigner.

It always takes a little bit of time to get used to a new city. I would love to meet new people and learn more about Dallas.
I am normally very busy with school/work, but when I have free time I like to embroider and knit, write poetry, hike (still haven't found hiking places in Dallas!) and be near nature. I also like museums and am fascinated with local culture (last year I was obsessed with the State Fair and plan to go several times this year).
I don't like clubs very much, prefer to sit down and talk on a bar :)
