I think a lot about life, thus it is interesting to have other people and other cultures point of view.
I work with research in Biochemistry field, but I have very interdisciplinary interests, work and life-related.
I was born in Ribeirão Preto - São Paulo - Brazil, but lived some years of my childhood in Salvador - Bahia. I also lived for some months, doing research, in Göttingen (Germany) and in Utrecht (The Netherlands). Now I'm doing my postdoc in the cute Gainesville-Florida.

I usually like to stay in hostels because we have good opportunity of meeting people with different backgrounds and similar interests in the visited city. With CouchSurfing we have the benefit of making new friends and have precious suggestions from a local.
I've been helped a lot by unknown people, friends-of-friends offering me their couches... so, whenever I can, I also try to help other people.
