Hi, I'm Letizia! My name means "joy" and I want to live up to my name ;)
I love travelling, meeting new people, spending hours chatting with my friends, music. a long walk with my dog, cooking and having looong lunches or dinners with my family.
I studied Foreign Languages and Literatures in Milan for a while, then I moved to London and worked there as an au-pair for an year and now I'm a executive secretary for a project to finance young startuppers.
I live between Milan, Monza (well-known for the F1 race) and Lake Como.
I live with my family in a farm and we have 2 dogs, a turtle, a couple of hens and turkeys and a lot of animals that come to live here freely, like ducks and herons.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I created my profile because I was curious to know more about couchsurfing and now I want to try this amazing travelling experience. I've met a couple of couchsurfers that a friend of mine was hosting and I had the time of my life.
I am now living with family and I can't have people over, but I would be glad to meet travellers and show them where I live!

兴趣

I really love reading, watching tv show and listening to music.
I find cooking and baking extremely relaxing, expecially when I cook for someone I love or care about. I'm alergic to milk, so I always try to find new recipes to cook without it.
I'm very Italian when food is involved and I can talk about recipes and how you should cook proper Italian food for days and I'll be more then happy to show you!

I'm a volunteer in an organisation that runs a rehearsal studio for my city and we organize gigs and music workshops. So if you come to Milan and you're a musician, maybe we can organise something together!

I love music and also books, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, but I also love classical novels. My favourite books are Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, American Gods, One hundred years of solitude and The house of the Spirits.
I love Adele, Paolo Nutini, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Genesis.
My favorite tv show is Game of Thrones and I can spend hours talking about it!

Last year I visited L'Asinara, an island that used to be a penal colony and now is a nature reserve.
It was amazing and extremely interesting, I had never seen such colours and wildlife in my life
