ABOUT ME

I am a 57 yr old mother and grandmother. I am enthusiastic, spontaneous...I love learning about other cultures and languages. I am self sufficient and adventuresome. My kids are grown (six) and this is my time to live, breathe, dance. I love life and am very excited to embark on this adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I sincerely have finally realized that everything I worried about never or seldom happened. I am glad to be alive and want to live everyday like it was my last.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently living with my boyfriend. We have two couches and our home is not in a "hot" spot in the Denver area, but we are hospitalble folk and our couch is open to travelers...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent 8 weeks in Europe. 3 in Crete. 1 in Athens, 3.5 in Rome and 3 nights in Venice. I am a Romantic Idealistic woman... I went to Europe with full confidence that I would have couches in Italy. It was very disappointing. I sent out 29 request and only received a handful of declines. I am not a prude. I have been on this planet long enough to know all about sex and how the games are played. I was exceptionally disappointed that The men in Italy appeared to use CS as a hook up site. I have the emails to prove it. I was invited to a "materbation" party and a nude lunch. When I POLITELY declined, there was no interest of sharing a couch with me. DUH !!! I spend most of my funds on lodging which was a true bummer. I was able to pay for ONE mueseum. This site will only be as good as the participators. And OLD folks like to travel too. My couch is available regardless of race,creed, age, or color. JUST SAYING...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I live up in the mountains of CO where there are no reflective lights...on a clear night the constellations are breathtakingly amazing. And for amazing thing I have done...people seem to be impressed that I delivered my last child (11 lbs) at home with no electricity... just a candle burning.

I love to cook. My specialty is Tex Mex but can cook just about anything. I am famous for walking in a kitchen and making a meal out of "odds and ends" I would love to teach anyone that would like to learn.
