a short hitchhiking-trip across Portugal and Spain
i'm the kind of person who randomly smiles at strangers, helps old ladies getting of buses and rescues kittens from trees. people might argue that i'm overdoing it with the whole "being-friendly-thing", but i just like helping others and even though it sounds cliché i think whenever you do something nice, you'll get something nice back in return
i grew up in a small village in upper austria where everybody greets everybody, the grass is green and the sun shines bright. i've lived and worked in several countries now. sometimes I think about staying in one place, but opportunities keep showing up. one of the things I've learnt living abroad is that both nice and mhm.. let's call them less nice people are to be found absolutely everywhere. the part with the nicer ones (the part I focus on) is proved easily with websites like couchsurfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i'm on couchsurfing, because i like to believe in the kindness of strangers, that's why i hitchhike too.
i like meeting new people and treating them as if i´ve known them forever, i like traveling and getting to know cities and countries the most authentic way possible (what a surprise for a couchsurfer)
i love the sea, all rivers and lakes, i could spend hours just swimming and diving around, but actually i enjoy any activity in nature.
reading, drawing and writing is something i try to do on a regular basis cause it makes me a more level-headed person. so does listening to music.
other art-stuff i'm really into: i have a thing for street art and theatre. also i always have been interested in photography and lately i am experimenting a little bit more with it, so the camera has become my new favourite toy.
