I'm a 24-year old student currently living and studying in the wonderful city of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
I grew up in Waregem, Belgium, not far away from Ghent. I study Journalism and I have studied Psychology too.
I like music, sports, culture and philosophy, travelling, photography and cooking. I also try to read as much as possible and love to watch movies. I'm writing a bit myself, short stories and poems, but I don't got a lot of time to do it daily, however I like doing it. I play the drums in a Belgian band called KNEUS. One of my favorite activities is going for a drink or dinner with friends, I love spending nights talking and making crazy memories.
When I'm graduated I want to keep on travelling and write about it, or make videos of it. That would be great. Or work for a production company to make series or movies, especially the writing and creating part of it attracts me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like the most of us, it's just amazing to get to know other people. Different people, from various cultures and countries.
And I'm fed up with expensive hotels and missing the opportunity to immerse myself in a culture or a group of fantastic people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed the French Alps for a week on my own. It was a very special experience. You're really alone alone.
It's true that you get to know yourself a lot better and you start to think creatively. It's not easy mentally but also physically challenging.
The view was amazing, al-ways. The mountain, snowy tops, the lakes, the animals, the sound of silence...
It got me writing poetry and stories when I was there. I would love to do it again. Or with some others, who have the same mindset about things like that.

It depends on where I am. But I can take you on a splendid trip through the city and present you a perfect mix of culture, nature and the local food&drinks.
