Hello! I'm a curious guy interested in lots of things. Born in Japan, grew up in LA, moved to Taiwan and mainland China to study Chinese, worked in LA, SF and HK among other places. Have traveled much of Asia, and am now planning to go to places I haven't been to before. Among several other things, I'm currently focused on travel, meeting new people, learning Spanish, and exploring/experiencing the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel one of the best ways to understand and connect with the local culture and people is to immerse yourself in it and experience how local people live. I hope to meet and make friends along with way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Biked around the island of Taiwan with 2 Taiwanese friends. We strapped tents to the back of our bikes and camped out most of the nights. The other nights we were graciously hosted by strangers we met on the road.
