Hey there, I'm Lewis. Some people call me Favourite Soup if you'd prefer. I'm from the Isle of Man and I'm currently travelling South America. I decided to travel because my whole life I've lived on this tiny island. It is a beautiful island but there aren't many activities or things to see here. I just want some new experiences and to meet some new and different people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet lots of new people and to explore South America with different people! It's all about exploring and hanging out for me. Hopefully I can even meet some friends for life.

Oh also, it would be dope if I could meet someone who can show me how to swim properly so I can try surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I've been making music for a long time now so I've acquired quite a rounded taste. I generally like to seek out more independent artists as I often find their music to be really innovative. I probably lean mostly towards hip-hop and electronic music. But yea I like it all !

MOVIES: JACKIE CHAN FILMS and Disney stuff.

BOOKS: I haven't read enough books to comment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent most of last year developing a game by myself, alongside my everyday job as a kitchen porter. I wrote all the music, drew all the sprites and even did a lot of coding. I managed to get it to DEMO state before leaving for SA! So I carry that round on an SD card to show people. I'm more stoked that I taught myself how to code TBH.

I'm hoping this achievement can overtaken by travelling for a long time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach someone how to skate, it's always a good day when someone lands their first ollie. And to be taught how to be a better skater would be cool too.

I can also share some computer knowledge. I can code in GML. I can do some in depth 3D modelling stuff and also shader art. I can also teach you how to make some music. Most of this stuff can be done with free software.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be delighted to wash your dishes or do some generic chores around the house, whatever, I will walk ya dogs if you want!
