ABOUT ME

Hello !

About me.. I am very laid back and Scottish - mostly into cycling, musicing, and bodged DIY projects.

I am Edinburgh based, and have spent quite a lot of time being a slightly slow but well intentioned waiter here.

Home made wind turbines are a real passion of mine, so if anyone would like some tips on how to get started with one I'd love to share!

I am currently doing a bit of cycle touring around the isles as part of my long student summer. I hope to experience some new aspects of our great little country and make some friends along the way !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been meaning to try couchsurfing for a quite a while.

I've heard numerous tales of positive experiences had through it. I understand that having a comfortable time with a stranger in your home requires input on my part, so I will gladly spend time hanging out with anyone kind enough to host me.

I'll spend some of most days on my bike.

I am in a two man band with my friend Tom, seeking recruits and talent for our fantasy cover band Modest Grouse.

Anything hands on and outdoors is a fulfilling way to spend time in my book.

I swam in the sea monthly for a year in my home area of north east Fife.

I am very laidback and easygoing. I really enjoy meeting new people, hearing about their lives and keep an open mind. Basically, I aim for friendly chap vibes.

On the practical side of things I can cook some pretty good food on the fly, and definitely won't be a demanding guest.
