ABOUT ME

Originally from California but currently living in Montreal. I want to go everywhere, see everything, and meet everyone! I mean it.

My passion in life is language, both foreign and my own. I work as a translator and interpreter. As English becomes the default in international conversation, its really a gift for me when hosts and surfers want to share their native language with me (whether I speak it or not ;) ) . Nothing makes me happier than getting to know new people- we are all so complicated and fascinating. I love sharing stories and adventures with both new and old friends. So let's go do something weird!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Both surfing and hosting. There are few other things in life that allow you to both give and receive so joyfully. In Scotland, there is a stipulation of the law called the "right to roam" which means that everyone has open access to the land for recreational and educational purposes without paying. I love this concept and want to help apply it to as much of the world as possible, starting with my home

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

100% positive, always resulting in crazy stories and meeting awesome people. I wouldn't trade anything for the hilarious and bizarre encounters I've had both while hosting and surfing

I love doing anything outdoors, ocean, mountains, desert, glaciers, I dont care where. enjoying live music, languages, reading and writing, pretending i can play musical instruments, dancing, board games, trying new things
