Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just exploring the rules of the road for CS. Looking for possible stays along 101 for my west coast travels. Might be open to hosting to return the favor and show people around my secret spots of Chicago

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

Standard office life by day, ceramic artist(potter) by night. Loves to garden, and learning to make things from scratch. Would love to have chickens, but I haven't sold my husband on it yet. Recently started juicing. Constantly trying to balance my many passions with my work life. Loves to travel, road trips, and hike around national parks. Enjoys acoustic and folk type music along with 90's grunge. Love hippies, but have always been a bit more personally conservative. Lightly into camping and geocaching. Husband and I make beer and wine

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking between the five small coastal towns along the Mediterranean in Italy (cinque Terre)
Sitting in arches national park with my husband just before sunset and hearing absolute silence
Seeing a sea anemonee in real life, in their natural habitat on the Oregon coast

Teach, Learn, Share

I substitute teach ceramics (throwing like in ghost and hand building), and have a home studio. I have canned and made jam, trying to learn how to crochet more than a slip stitch, am learning how to cook and juice for health. Would be willing to juice for you!
My husband is in the airforce reserves, plays the guitar, is a private pilot working on his commercial license, into wood working and building model airplanes and ships.
