Hey! I am a 20 year old from California who is currently living in Berlin while being an AuPair! This is my second gap year, I am enrolled in the University of British Columbia and will return there in the fall. My first gap year was in 2013/14 and spent wondering around South East Asia and India with a brief stop in Europe. This year has been about seeing as much of Europe as possible and I am really enjoying exploring new places and getting to meet new people! I am a total "people person" and love talking about traveling, tennis or really anything! I look forward to meeting you!!!

Eeekk okay, life interests me so this is a hard one! I absolutely love tennis, Ive been playing since I was a baby, coached for five years and play for my university team. I am also somewhat of a travel junky. I love having new experiences and being pushed out of my comfort zone! Also anything to do with art is right up my alley, from making it to seeing it to talking about it!

Okay, I'll listen to almost any music but if Im by myself Ill probably put on an Indi rock album. I grew up with Bob Dylan, Neal Young and the Grateful Dead and I am happy listening to them any day of the week! I also love Third Eye Blind! My favorite movie changes but I've watched Almost Famous, Anchor Man, Forest Gump, and anything by Wes Anderson more times then I can count! I also have a guilty habit of binge watching crime TV shows on Netflix, im on The Mentalist now! My favorite book also changes, but I really enjoyed The Great Gatsby.. I love sitting down with a good book and a cup of tea!

I was able to be a part of a team that went to Nepal this summer after the earthquakes to build shelters. I worked hand in hand with a Nepali team and learned SO MUCH FROM THEM. I am humbled by the experiences I had there and completely in love with their culture and way of life. I am forever trying to make my way back!

I can share real world stories and experiences with a host! I hope to learn and grown from each other, I really want to experience as much of their culture as possible! Also a bottle of their favorite wine!
