Hello!
My name is Lexi and I am from Chicago, IL, USA. Throughout my 20s I spend my time teaching primary school in Chicago. Even though I loved teaching, my boyfriend and I decided that we wanted to really see the world, so we set off on a year-long journey to experience the world outside of the US. When I am not traveling I love to read, write, and eat! Some of my favorite things include animals (specifically dogs) and trying foods from other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to meet new people, experience other cultures, and practice new languages. It is also a great way to save money while traveling. After my travels, I will be excited and eager to welcome travelers into my home to experience everything Chicago has to offer.
