ABOUT ME

I was born in and spent the first part of my life in the Caribbean, but went to school in Southern Ontario, Canada. The travel bug got in me early and I've had itchy feet ever since.

I'm now a travel writer and PADI scuba instructor in the Caribbean.

I love the ocean, arts and crafts, and good conversation.

Im always trying new things and love to challenge myself.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you love. You will never be as young as you are right now.

I firmly believe the only way to truly experience a place is to become part of it, observing is not enough. To know a place is to know its people.

I have hosted both official and unofficial couch surfers for some time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much couch surfing experience (yet!) but I have a few friends who swear by it. I definitely plan on getting more involved as I do more traveling.

Interessen

I'm a pretty creative person, my hobbies over the years have included; painting, drawing, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, jewellery making. A few years ago I finished building a small wooden home, and for a while I was growing a lot of my own food. So I guess I can add carpentry, electrical, and gardening to that list. I love hiking/ camping and being outdoors and anything involving the ocean. And of course, good company to share adventures and pints with. I like to cook, watch movies, climb trees, bike, dance...
