About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Move to Santa Barbara; LA cruise first
ABOUT ME
Called "The Real Deal," I'm a fun-loving extrovert, preppy and grounded. I'm clean, considerate, trustworthy, reliable, and organized. Love to play tennis, water ski, and participate in many sports. Also love to dance -- almost any kind. I'm a hard worker at my marketing job for a fast-growing IT networking company because I love to create events, whether I'm paid or volunteering. Would love to meet you!
PHILOSOPHY
An extrovert off the charts, I believe in the immortal words of The Beatles ... "and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." Always a friendly smile, I love to entertain, and make people laugh.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I rarely turn down an opportunity to help someone in a meaningful way. If you need a bed, I'll show you the town. Also want to spread my cheer wherever I travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just getting started! A wonderful friend at MIT told me about CS when I asked where he thought I should stay in the Santa Barbara area. I've certainly hosted plenty of friends at my home(s), but this is my first time with strangers waiting to be friends.
Interests
Networking with all kinds of interesting people, dancing and sports. Just finished my role as "Czarina of Umpire Recruiting & Registration" for the Head Of The Charles Regatta in Boston! Love Squam Lake in NH, but want the warm life year-round now.

Music, Movies, and Books
I sing classical, but dance like a crazy woman to the rock+roll of the '60's + '70's. Movies -- don't go for the violent stuff -- give me a comedy or a life lesson story any day!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cirque de Soleil -- it turns me into a wide-eyed child again. I'm astounded how they push the physical limits of the human body, with humor, and stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
It takes guts to open your sanctuary/home to strangers, and also to venture into a new place to sleep. It's daring to trust, and fun to show open-minded new friends what good things you've found in your part of the world.
