About Me

I'm a former cook, who fell in love with science and started to study biology at 27. Love to share experiences, knowledge and time with people, and to discover new points of view. At the moment I'm a bioinformatician at the Helsinki university working on mitochondrial diseases. I left Russia in 2022 due to my anti war positions and hope for peace in Ukraine. I have an amazing dog and she is part of the experience )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love every place I live, enjoy exploring it in a deep way and want to share this love with any one who comes here.

Also it's a totally diffrernt experience - looking at places through locals eyes, while travelling.

Interests

I deeply admire science, love what I do and believe that science will eventually make the world a better place.
Learning to play ukulele (with some success) and piano (no success), and love to sing (but didn’t master it. live jazz performances are my guilty pleasure. I spend a lot of time in nature with my dog and love to hike, explore it in just be around.
