Hi all!

I'm from a place called Rochester, NY. It's 6 hours driving to NYC, so I'm not a "New Yorker" as most people think of it, but New York State has a lot going on outside the big apple!

I have left Rochester for chunks of time in the past, avoiding quite a few winters in the process! In 2015 I spent about 5.5 months road tripping through 37 states, and in 2017 I moved to Los Angeles for a little over a year. On January 4th of this year, I left again, this time for my first big international solo travel adventure! I am traveling throughout Asia, and have already been to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, with Japan and South Korea up next.

This trip has been everything I hoped it would be. I feel it is has been an incredible opportunity to step away from all influence and discover myself in a deeper way. The beauty of nature and the kindness of humans have paved my way forward on this journey, and I am incredibly thankful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always wanted to try Couchsurfing, and have been sitting on this account for years now without using it, so this seemed like the perfect time to give it a go! Someday in the future when I have a space, I'd like to host travelers, so it would be cool to meet people doing the same now, to exchange vibes / lifestyles, and find friends all over the world!
