ABOUT ME

Well, depending on who you ask, they'd probably say I'm responsible, organized, generally put together...and get really, really silly when I'm not being any of those things! I'm not a big partier, but I love to get to know people one on one. I'm a recovering OCD life-planning control freak, a writer, a reader, and a caller of bluffs.

I'll be honest - I'm still a bit nervous about this project. But I have heard so many good things, I'm eager to get started!

I work in theatre, and I love it. I love listening to people who are in the business of entertaining and/or the arts talk about what they love about it, what keeps them working even though it's so thankless.
My current obsession is the musician Amanda Palmer, everything she's ever recorded and a lot of what she's done. I want to be her when I grow up.
Aside from those things - my family and my friends are enormously important to me. Cliche, but true. Much of what I do - the things that are hard, or boring, or terrifying - I do because of them!

Movies?: I'll watch anything once! And have watched many of them several times. Except horror movies. Can't stand horror movies.

When I first saw the city of Rome - ancient, dusty, crammed with modern commerce alongside enormous ruins - it was completely breathtaking.

Anytime I'm able to look out over the ocean, I'm awestruck. It makes you feel so small. Everything is put in perspective when you stand on a beach.
