I am married to a wonderful and like minded person who enjoys seeing the world with me. My wife and I are both psychotherapists-social workers. My interest in travel and getting to know people of other cultures also manifests itself through in my work-life as I am the author of the Asian Indian and Korean Needs Assessment Report which can be seen here:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We visited several couch surfers in India in 2007 and 2008 and was impressed with their helpfulness and willingness to partake in conversation and friendhip. In 2009 we had the pleasure of making a new CS friend in Argentina and in 2011, we spent some time with a CS friend in Portugal.In 2012 we spent some time with a CS friend in Sofia Bulgaria and Istanbul, Turkey.

Interests

Travel especially to India, Korea, Vietnam, and Spain and Switzerland; photography, South American music, movies, surfing the web.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the Peace Corps when I was younger and lived in a small town in Colombia for 2 years, which probably shaped my interest in travel and my desire to become acquainted with people from other cultures. We have been to India five times and have met many amazing people there.
