ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm living in Angers, France for a year as an au pair. Because I am living at the home of my employers, I cannot host anybody. : ( Sorry!
Next year I hope to go back to school for a Ph.D. , although if that doesn't work out I'm considering becoming a student here at the university in Angers. I'm a pretty laid-back person, and I appreciate open-minded people who like having meaningful conversations, and/or are willing to relax and have a good time.

I grew up in Washington, in the United States. I studied linguistics at the University of Washington. I spend most of my time watching TV shows, movies, playing video games, exploring parks, hiking, reading, and drawing. I love drawing people more than anything!

PHILOSOPHY

I share myself with others because I want to make people feel more accepted and less alone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I have never been in a position to host couchsurfers, I hold strongly to the "pay it forward" philosophy and hope to be able to do just that in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed before, but it sounds like a great way to go!

兴趣

I like hiking, by which I mean I love the view from the top. I explore to marvel at the wonder and ancientness of the earth. I partake of music and happiness. Art, to me, is appreciating the vision of others, and drawing is a study of beauty. Language is a fascinating tool, and its vastness and complexity is simultaneously the most extraordinary and underrated human creation.
