ABOUT ME

i'm the most blessed person in the world...surrounded by incredible friends, and a hilarious, fun, loving family (i'm the oldest of five kids)! i love people, and almost always like anyone right off the bat. i have a tremendously inquisitive mind. i'm a deep thinker, and enjoy deep conversation. in a perfect world, i would spend my day talking to people and reading good books. i'm a nerd, and would be elated to spend my whole life in the world of acadamia! :) i'm exceptionally goofy and dorky, random, and accident prone. i laugh hard and often, and am always up for a fun time! i'm tremendously adventurous, and want to travel the world and experience other cultures. i've been to south america numerous times, and hope to become fluent in spanish. I'd love to improve my not-so-good salsa dance skills! =) i'm passionate, extroverted, and charasmatic. i feel things deeply. i'm not ok with being stagnant. i strive to grow personally and to move forward day by day. i love the outdoors- hiking, camping, skiing- and someday i want to learn to surf off the coast of ecuador. i've tried before and almost killed myself! i thoroughly enjoy the arts, particularly photography, writing, and fashion, which are all hobbies of mine. i'm a music junkie and spend too much money on concerts. i have a guitar and an intense yearning to play and write music! i find great fulfillment in connecting people to relationships with others and myself. one of my favorite things to do is host get-togethers and cook dinner for people. =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have enough couches for up to four surfers (and up to nine surfers, if they are comfortable with some extra short couches I have and some floor mattresses. And, I'm always up for meeting for coffee and showing people around town! =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently had my first couch-surfing experiences all over Spain! They were all very positive. I've found the couchsurfing community to be very friendly and hospitable.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies that make you think- ones that have deep meaning. I enjoy foreign and indipendent films. One of my favorite foreign films is Amelie. I listen to all kinds of music, but mostly enjoy music from independent artists (the Weepies, Feist, Regina Spektor, and Brandi Carlile to name a few). Books- I enjoy ALL kinds of books, but I especially enjoy memoirs. Oh, and anything C.S. Lewis. =)
