Now that I've finished my MA, I'm still trying to figure out what exactly it is that I want to do with my life - I'm doing an internship with a small publisher, and soon I'll be moving on to an internship with a larger one, but really, all I want to do is work with and talk about books.

I try to host people whenever I can, but I haven't had much experience yet because people always wanted to surf my couch when I wasn't there. But who knows, new town, new luck...

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: anything by Roald Dahl and Astrid Lingren, victorian novels, urban fantasy, literature and non-fiction about the Holocaust, children's literature and basically pretty much anything that will hold still long enough for me to read.

Movies: Lady Henderson Presents, Keeping Mum, Mary Poppins, basically anything which is either black-humored or for children.

Music: any, really, as long as it's not computer-generated.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Northern Lights was definitely awesome - and pink dolphins swimming in the Amazon. I hope to see more awesomeness though because there's bound to be more of it out there...

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning anything that I don't know yet (so there's a lot of choice), and if anyone likes to hear something about literature or random movie trivia I'm more than willing to share ;)
On the more practical side, I can knit, crochet, and use a sewing machine, as well as being a pretty good cook and baker when I have the time - I'm more than willing to share my expertise!
