Hello! My name is Lauren and I love to travel and explore new areas, experiment with food I haven't tried before, thrift, and go to concerts. My ideal day would probably be grabbing coffee and wandering around a new city, seeing where my interests and instincts take me. My friends would describe me as organized and prepared yet spontaneous and adventure-seeking.

I am excited to travel and make new friends but am on a budget. I also prefer to have a more local and less tourist experience when traveling and would love tips from locals! I feel like I have missed out on a lot of the travel you are supposed to do in your early 20's due to the pandemic. Help me achieve my goal of more travel!

I spent a summer traveling around the north and south islands of New Zealand and WOOF-ed + worked on an apple orchard during that time to pay for my trip. It was an amazing experience and taught me how to be more spontaneous and open to new experiences.

I also worked in an animal sanctuary on the Ecuadorian side of the Amazon Rainforest for a month! It was worth the mosquito bites for sure.

I have done multiple road trips across the U.S. and stayed in quite a few National Parks and been to 32/48 continental US states.
