About Me

Understand the world

Hello people from Earth,
I currently live in London, I am a human being, rejecting ideas of belonging and citizenship. I have roots in the motherland, in Algeria, but unfortunately I know nothing about the culture and language as I have never been there. I currently live in London for my studies, I learned to like this city in a certain way. ow, and I love studying, especially at my university.
I am working for a cultural organisation to promote African culture and music. I'm quite interested in whatever you want to talk about, I like to know how things around me work, and I'm trying to rebuild my culture of historical facts. Also I believe that animals are like human beings in the sense that they deserve to live and not be eaten by "us" because we do not have the need to. Thus you can guess from that, that I am vegetarian - but then I am not going to try to convince you to stop eating meat blabla, as long as you are respectful, I will be :)

I am still learning about life and all my ideas are continuously changing as long as I learn throughout the path.
But I tend to dream of a libertarian society, everyone on the same level with a communitarian spirit. I know it exists somehow in this world. We can find societies resting on this system.

If you read my blog you might see where I am getting to (there's the link a bit above I guess I've filled a case for that)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm trying to host and meet people, and to surf as soon as I travel. I prefer meeting people "one by one" instead of going to meeting, so that it is easier to have good conversation ...
I am really happy to be able to host again some time, it is nice to have some CSers around !

I have experienced Couchsurfing in many different ways: I had the possibility to host and surf, meet and travel with many Couchsurfers. It is AMAZING to have this possibility in life.

Travelling all around the world. Learning about different cultures, languages.
Reading & Writing, Photography
Art, philosophy and anthropology. Human beings
knowledge, debates (not useless debates)
MUSIC (I work for a cultural organisation and we do live music events, also, I am starting playing bassguitar again!)

At the moment I love reading/learning about: Afrofuturism, the Brain, the World, Social Entreprises,

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: Into the Wild, This is England, Dead Poet Society, Poetry, Whale Rider, Bamako, Yaaba, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, the science of sleep ... Music: rock, ska, reggae and also traditional music from your countries that you make me discover. Authors: I do not have a specific author that I like but books such as Dorian Grey, African art books, about religion, linguistics, life (at the time being I love CLARO, a French author).

I am a big fan of literature, film, music, I am open minded about stuff that you might want to show me

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Burkina Faso.My dream since the age of 10.
And I don't ride bikes there, but crocodiles, they are so cute.
And then, I think everything that happens in life is pretty amazing :)

Swimming in the caves in Vietnam and sleeping in the jungle! Wow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy sharing travel experiences.
If there is something I can teach, maybe languages ? Especially French, I'd also love to learn other languages. I could also teach some Hausa, and share some knowledge about the motherland, Africa :)
