I am a PhD student of the Anthropology Department at the European University in St. Petersburg, and my research is focused on transnational migration. I adore the city I live in but I love travelling as well.
I try to care about nature, love cycling and doing yoga (actually, all kinds of sport).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I stayed in Spain, France, Georgia, Hungary and Italy with the help of CS and it was a fascinating experience for me. I was lucky to have the most hospitable and friendly hosts ever who were keen on spending time with me and my friends.
If you would like to stay in my apartment, please text me in advance because I rent it with flatmates and I need to notify them about your visit. One more thing that you need to know is that I have a cat.

I have two favourite music bands which I can listen to all day long: the Doors and the Smiths. But obviously I listen to different kinds of stuff as well

As for movies, my favourite directors are Andrey Tarkovsky, Wes Anderson, David Lynch, Gaspar Noe, Ingmar Bergman, and Sofia Coppola

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I can entertain you with stories about faraway cultures which all anthropologists know in plenty. We can practise English, Russian or German, play different musical instrument and cook our favourite dishes. And of course I always bring cute souvenirs from my beloved city St. Petersburg
