**Summer Update** We're out of town quite often this summer, and I've had to turn down a lot of couch surfers, especially on weekends. Apologies if I'm not able to host you, we're doing a lot of mini breaks before I return to Canada in August. :)

ABOUT ME

Free spirit, open, avid traveller, spontaneous, independent, fun, light-hearted, food lover. Sometimes shy and introverted and quite happy with a book and a glass of wine anywhere. Happy to be alone, and happy for good conversation. I'm kind of awkward with small talk, especially in a foreign language.

I really enjoy wild camping.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't couch-surf very often, but really enjoy the unpredictable aspect of it. I don't always have a couch to offer because I'm often out of town or between countries for personal reasons, but am happy to meet travellers and show them around Lyon if I am not able to host :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A wonderful experience in Porto, Portugal was my first European couchsurfing experience. I surfed in Argentina, also, back in 2007, under a different website (hospitality club?). Met fun, like-minded people that way!

Interests

I am currently living in Lyon, France, as a teacher. When not working, I: paint, run, practice yoga, read, drink wine, and dance salsa.

Je parle francais couramment. J'habite a Lyon depuis 2013, prof en maternelle et a la fac, et je voyage le plus possible durant les congés scolaires :)

Tambien, hablo español, he vivido en España y Argentina, asi que si vienes o has viajado por estas partes del mundo, seria un placer de hablar con ustedes !
