Former digital marketer I quit my full time dream job in 2023 in search of something more. While life wasn’t as easy as I expected it to be, cause when is! - after a few part time gigs and with a very thin budget, I decided to take the plunge and travel around West Africa, starting with Senegal.

I very much love learning about other cultures and genuinely connecting with people, learning about different spiritual understandings people have, and one of my top values is to do with social activism and living in a fairer world where more people understand borders and a lot of what we accept as a given is man made.

While travelling, I’d love to develop my photography and videography skills (just using my phone), create travelling YouTube vlogs with a pinch of political commentary, create long lasting relationships, laugh till my belly hurts and chase as many sunsets as I can!!! I love nature, animals (I petsit as well and come with amazing references), I love all sorts of music and to be active.

While I’m very friendly and people feel at home with me, I’m also extremely to the point when needed and value straightforward communication. As a solo female traveler I always have to look out for myself so I developed a nose for sniffing unwanted situations, and I’m really not the one to try it with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I mentioned I really enjoy learning about other cultures and I’m the type of traveller who prefers to be immersed in what a country and its peoples have to offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent my 31st birthday in the Agafay desert in Morocco, dancing and singing around the fire under the gorgeous night sky. Probably the most beautiful birthday I’ve had so far.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very good home organiser and have renovated a previous house I was renting a room in. If you need help around the house, come up with ideas, painting, do a little mural or improvise an indoor jungle, I’m totally your person.

I love cooking for people, but can be sometimes a little rubbish with recipes if I’m in a new place and need to get my head around things, but I very much enjoy doing the dishes (weird like that, I know).

Language exchange! I’m a good teacher so I can definitely help you spruce up your English (if I get help with my French or Spanish that’s absolutely amazing).
