IMP: I am nomadic, so it is rare to be in Porto, I'm currently living in Barcelona*

Now about myself, it is always difficult to talk about ourselves, but to summarize:

I am the only child of a small family. I had the opportunity to play in the street and forests with my neighbours. Back then didn't exist the imminent danger of playing outside without adults and I was lucky because there wasn't the technology of today. So I consider myself very active, I love nature and I'm a very social person.
Furthermore, when I was a kid I was a Tom Boy which instilled me a taste for sport. Even to this day I can't spend to much time without playing sports. Not just for the physical benefits but as a therapy for my mental well-being.

I studied social work, I started with a vocational course in Socio-cultural Animation and then expanded my knowledge with a social educator degree. I also have a post graduation about Mental Health and Migration. That's what fascinates me and what I try to invest either professionally or by satisfaction.

Since the age of 18 years I started traveling without my parents, only with groups of friends, initially close to home but then in college I began to expand my horizon and wanted to know more, and travel more.

And here I am, that's me ...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined CouchSurfing in 2012 when I moved to the US, encouraged by a friend, but I never needed to use it till now.
I started a trip in South by America by myself, and I believe that the surfing will be an asset to save some money and be involved with the local people.
Beside that it is an easy way to find and meet people in the same circle as me.

Since my adolescence I don't buy CD's and I rarely listen to music, just when I'm driving and I put the radio on. But I can't stand metal, heavy metal, heavy rock ...

Books, I usually buy them in the cheap pile and in the summer time or when I have to practice a language. For example one of the last books I read was Gomorra and Walker Street.

As for Movies, I always entertain myself with a movie, love seeing action movies, a good comedy, some scientific fiction. Lately I have been watching documentaries from VICE.

There exists a Chinese proverb that says something like "Learning is a treasure which accompanies its owner everywhere.” So, taking this into account I can say that I'm a curious being. At the same time I'll be open to share all my knowledge, my life experience.
