ABOUT ME

I am a young biologist from Israel, performing my PhD at Duke University in the US. Mostly I spend my time on my research, with friends and staying fit (gym, cycling, yoga) :)
I also love to travel, see new places and meet fun and interesting people.
My interests encompass natural sciences, music, economics and philosophy.
Oh, Once in a while I try to enjoy "the good life", too :P

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm in the process of moving to the US, where I intend to host more than before.
I had the pleasure to stay with 3 hosts during my 2013 vacation in the US, they were all very nice and welcoming.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Taylor, with whom I stayed at 2013, was a very fun host who took me to night-outs with his friends. We also went spontaneously hiking together.

While traveling, I like to meet people, see nature, eat good food, hike some and all kinds of adventures :)

In the everyday I enjoy learning and discussing a wide array of topics, like economics, natural sciences, philosophy, culture, politics, history and medicine, as well as music, entertainment, accents.. and other anecdotes and peculiarities of "a lesser importance" :P

My musical taste varies from 80's rock to contemporary country, dance to pop.. classic rock to mellow ballads. kind of all over the place.
I like books of Hemingway, Saramago , Shakespeare, Goethe etc.
Films? mostly parallel to IMDB's top 100, with some awkward predilection to rom-coms.
