About Me

Current Medic on an ambulance, moving into computer science. Starting a series of international trips and adventures to explore some life dreams I've been holding back on.

I've roamed around an extensive part of the States having lived in Florida, Oregon, Georgia, Washington, California, New York, Utah, North Carolina and spent time/trips in many more states. I went to college in Savannah, Georgia for Film and hosted a lot of really incredible people from all over the world, then surfed around for awhile on my own until I got caught up in working on an ambulance, hospital, and starting a career in software and networking.

I used to do a lot of couchsurfing from 2008-2012, but a lot of crazy stuff has happened since then and I have no idea how to find my old account so I guess I'm starting from scratch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet fellow travelers, share stories, trade experiences, and explore the world from a more genuine and interesting perspective than the insulated and artificial environments of major hotels and all inclusive tour packages.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really not too picky. I enjoy everything from synthwave to metal, to folk. I'm a huge geek when it comes to movies and love pretty much anything sci-fi. Also a big fan of horror. With books, I'm slightly ashamed to admit I don't read as much as I should. I rarely have downtime so it's hard for me to pick up a book when there's a ton of stuff happening around me. I'm working on it though so I'm open to suggestions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing seems so relative when I've met some people that make my life seem like a footnote. I hitchhiked from Boston to LA which was pretty fun. I've also gone solo skydiving, Seen some pretty amazing and pretty terrible things working on an ambulance and I decided to learn a foreign language for 5 months before booking a flight to Ukraine for 2 months on my own just to break out of life's hamster wheel I found myself stuck in.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel like I'm a sort of jack of all trades kind of guy, or maybe better to say amateur of all trades so I'm not sure how much I can say I can really teach as opposed to how much I just dabble in or know a little bit about. Of course though I do have a career in Emergency Medicine and am starting a career in Software/Networking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, fun stories, general handiness, and protection from life threatening injuries.
