I recently moved to Switzerland to work at the University of Geneva after finishing my PhD at the beginning of 2019.

When I'm not doing the science I like to:
- work on music and comedy projects. Check out my groups: The Acappelicans and Burger King Illuminati.
- go running, bouldering, and dancing (currently learning popping).
- play some video games (mostly Nintendo), and watch Youtube essays deconstructing art and philosophy, left aligned (Contrapoints, Lindsay Ellis, Philosophy Tube, Hbomberguy, etc).
- I also watch some anime, though I avoid series which hyper-sexualise their female characters and have strong themes of misogyny.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to explore more of the world now that I am living in the northern hemisphere, and am keen to meet some awesome new people :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching, that's one of my passions. I can provide a lot of knowledge on the topic of Surface Chemistry, which I did my PhD on, which is very relevant in daily life. I am also very interested in deconstruction of most topics. This is partly why I enjoy writing music and comedy. It's all an exercise in trying to communicate ideas through the breaking down what makes the whole. I can also talk a lot about Australia!

I am also keen to learn as much as I can about anything. Everything is interesting in my opinion. I look forward to our conversations!
