I just want to live, learn, and have fun! My main mission is to focus on doing one thing at a time and do that thing as best as I can.

ABOUT ME

I just turned 28 years old last month! I am basically from Michigan. Even though I wasn't born here and I moved around a lot growing up I've made my best friends here and have lived here the longest. I recently went through some insane life changes and have just moved back to Michigan from Washington, DC.

This summer I have a lot of free time so I've decided to try and travel as much as I can. I'm looking forward to having lots of fun and reconnecting with family and friends and meeting new friends along the way.

Seek love, peace, and happiness. Appreciate the people around you. Don't take anything for granted. Be open to new opportunities and understand how to make the most of whatever scenario you find yourself in. Take time to help other people when they need it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only just now signed up to the website - so no stories yet from here.

But I have hosted travelers in Kalamazoo. I've done a little bit of couch/floor surfing as well. I've had some amazing adventures in NYC and am grateful to have stayed with some wonderful people in Bed Stuy and Williamsburg. I have stayed at various co-ops in Ann Arbor, MI, Lawrence, KS, and Athens, OH. Co-opers know how to have a good time! And I have stayed with some great folks many a time in Chicago.

Interests

I love eating well and enjoying good food, local beer, and seltzer water. I play guitar a bit and like learning new songs. I am into DIY and making neat new things and trying stuff out like home brewing beer or building Arduino contraptions. I like spending time outdoors and camping out, kayaking, and hiking around. I like going to shows, very much.

I could teach someone guitar. I am pretty good with computers too. I'm also an amateur homebrewer (mostly beer, some mead).

I am always looking to learn new jokes. I'm also interested in learning more about health and healing.
