ABOUT ME

Going to change the world one day... right now i'm just trying to work out what life is all about.
I am studying medicine at the moment and spend every other minute thinking about all the places I could be in the world.
Right now the only thing keeping me alive through all this study is trying to stay connected to the world and to try maintain some lightness of being and not get weighed down by life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got to host a fellow couch surfer in my house in brisbane before i set off on my own surfing adventure throughout southeast asia for a year and just moved into a new house that is perfect for the occasional guest!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Living in a student sharehouse we have had our fair share of backpackers and vagabonds pass through our halls to lay on our soft soft couches. But! I have yet to couchsurf in another country.

Books: The lovely bones, midnight's children, Life of Pi, He died with a felafel in his hand, the poisonwood bible, emergency sex and other desperate measures.
Music: The album leaf, bob marley, bloc party, interpol, sigur ros, radiohead, bright eyes, modest mouse, kings of leon, the flaming lips, the arcade fire, damien marley, bob dylan, etc...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When i was about 9 i encountered a wild orangutan out the front of our house in Indonesia. While i was absolutely petrified with fear he simply walked up to me and gave me some of his starfruit that he was eating and went on his way back into the jungle. So very humbling to experience such a gentle giant up close like that...

I could teach you some nice chilled out acoustic guitar and maybe even some fire twirling tricks! Although i'm no expert or either and am sure there are many things you can show me! I can tell a story or 2 over a beer and will be your newest best friend if you wanna come hang out with me!
