ABOUT ME

WEIRD seems to be a common theme i embrace, possibly deriving form a lack of self consciousness yet on the other hand I am constantly striving to maintain consciousness of self... I am everything from comical to serious and usually at the most inappropriate of times, a strong sense of irony seems to drive me to seek controversy whilst envoloping my surroundings in a loving, joyfull bubble of light and goodness constantly attempting to maintain an open mind in all interactions with reality, talking about reality a lot, slightly obsessed with creating music. Harnessing the paradox's of human existence upon this earth (within this perception) and if you want a constant live musical background to your environment welcome me into your home and it shal be yours :)

I have always welcomed in friends and acquaintances into my home where ever i've been living from every where i have travelled no matter if i knew them a day or all my life much like picking up hitchers I always know there will be a time when i will be looking for people to welcome me in.. Now it is time for me to make it official

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was recently welcomed into a community in Marahau for 4 days whilst traveling around the south island.. I was over whelmed by the hospitality with fresh seafood being being brought forth from the ocean each day great conversation and fresh vegetable.. and In exchange I took on the role of resident musician sharing what i had to offer.. I was also aware that if i stayed much longer i would have needed to become involved in some more physical way but my journey was already calling onward so i departed with a great love in my heart for humanity..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On Christmas day had baileys on ice in fox Glacier NZ just me and 2 friends and then went down and camped by the beach where i found myself wading up to my neck in an estuary plucking muscles form the rocks and singing at the top of my lungs as I watched the sun set over the same glacier I had been climbing earlier that day :)

living in mammoth lake's and seeing 7 feet of snow fall in 7 days and going bouncing through the trees on my snowboard wooping and giggling

Playing a song i had just started writing with the incredible world music group Mama Yeva at Circulation Festival, the first time we ever played together with all the members was on that stage and somehow it all came together as a perfect harnessing of the moment.. at that time i felt truly blessed to be surrounded by such incredible creativity and sensitivity

If you want a constant live musical background to your environment welcome me into your home and it shal be yours :) I am currently pioneering a new form of social interaction i call the loop party where i plug a mic into my loop pedal and pass the mic round the circle each person adding another layer building and building until the sounds becomes to over whelming and we start again from scratch current test runs have been disturbingly successful stealing it's participants for upwards of 5 hours straight with no consciousness of time
