HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been in touch with and adjacent to the couchsurfing community for a while. I traveled in Colombia this last winter for a month and couch surfed once out there with my fellow traveler, Jack Rosacker, who has an account. I also lived in an intentional community of stanford students in Palo Alto, where several of our members had couch surfing accounts. I got used to seeing new faces traveling through from around the world, and actually am still in contact with some of them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was put up by an excellent teacher in colombia, we had an great dinner with him and another pair of couch surfing couples who were there. In the morning he had to leave early and left us alone in his house, demonstrating once again the inherent trust and positive associations this community has.
I've also had alot of synchronicity with the couchsurfers who would stay at my community in Palo alto. One woman was following a performer around the country who's brother I knew. Another lived on the same permaculture garden for a summer where I did my residential program. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of people on this website.
