Liana and Matt met in 2015 when Liana was travelling New Zealand and are now exploring Liana's country of birth, Canada and also our neighbour to the south, the USA. We like to explore the nature and culture of a place and are not really into the party scene.

We both enjoy cooking! Liana is vegan (among other things) and Matt is everythingetarian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to get to know the local culture and locals yourselves. We're looking for guidance on the hidden gems of your city/town and a place to rest our heads (and probably a shower too). Good conversation, good food and good times often follow.

Cooking and vegan baked goods if you fancy that! Of course you wouldn't have to clean up the mess.

We both like to work with our hands. Liana is patient so she can fix jewellery, stitch holes in your socks, work on your dreadlocks or make you a lovely friendship bracelet :) Matt can chop wood for the fire, analyze trees for pruning. Really, he's an all-around handy guy.

Throughout Liana's CSing and WWOOFing in New Zealand, it's become a bit of a tradition to take portraits of hosts and their families. Apparently I'm good at it.
