About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To truly live, and not just exist.

ABOUT ME

I see life through music and poetry.

Other than my two permanent loves - History and Music, my interests are varied and absolutely random! I love exploring and trying out new things. Striving to be a Jack of all trades, master of Some!

Am a pretty laid-back, chilled out person who endeavors to appreciate the finer things in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

There's too many to list so I'll just list my favorites :)

Movies: Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, The Spanish Apartment, Russian Dolls, Once, The Painted Veil, The Kids Are Alright, Dead Poets Society, Edwards Scissorshands, I am Sam, Empire of the Sun, Freedom Writers... [Too many!]

Music: RACHAEL YAMAGATA [currently am obsessed over her], Adele! Alternative rock - Oasis, Travis, Coldplay, Kings of Leon [just to name a few]
Basically, its hard to say what my favorite music is. I listen to all kinds of music, ranging from good ole oldies, motown, to classical tunes... I support Singapore's local music scene! There is good music here too! Well I can say however, what I don't fancy - Metal! Just ain't for me :S

Books - History books don't count right? Haha. Well I love 'The Historian' by Elizabeth Kostova. Its different, I swear! Teacher Man by Frank McCourt.

Books by local writer, Catherine Lim. And that's about it so far. I read few fiction unfortunately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting lost in Laos currently tops the list :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, being a history buff, I can share historical anecdotes about Singapore or Southeast Asia in general. If you wanna know more about travels in Malaysia or Beijing, you can also hit me up :)

Would love to learn from fellow history buffs and songwriters to share inspirations.
