Overview
About Me
I am currently studying sociology in Montreal and working part time. Whenever I have a long enough break, I try to hop on a plane or a bus, looking for new adventures, new people and beautiful sights.
"In Spanish there is a word for which I can’t find a counterword in English. It is the verb vacilar, present participle vacilando. It does not mean vacillating at all. If one is vacilando, he is going somewhere but doesn’t greatly care whether or not he gets there, although he has direction." -John Steinbeck (Travels with Charley in Search of America)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to visit many places, but I especially want to meet people. I am looking for people to share experiences, knowledge and nice moments with, be it while sightseeing, sharing a meal or a drink.
Interests
I love learning about different ways of living and different perspectives.
I'm a sociology student and I'm really into sociolinguistics, how we shape meaning and how meaning shapes us.
I do yoga, I've recently started doing watercolours and I like plants, flowers and cacti.
