ABOUT ME

I am a high energy girl with a love for life. I try and see the positive side of any situation and if i can't, I know that something good will come out of it in the long run. Everything happens for a reason. I do my best to live in the present moment. yesterday does not exist and neither does tomorrow, the only thing that exists is this moment, right now, so enjoy it. I have only been out of the country once, and that was 2 months ago when i went to sasquatch music festival in the states. I am traveling to South America in October for my first real travel adventure!!! Very excited!! I am learning new tricks with a hulahoop.. and i can try and teach you if you want. Other then that we will just have to meet up to find out more!!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe in the power of your thoughts and the power of positive affirmations. I try to live my life in the present moment and only look at the positive side of things but sometimes still get caught up in day to day life. I believe everyone is connected to a higher source of energy and always strive to be connected to that energy. There is so much out there that I can't even begin to comprehend so just take it one day at a time and appreciate every person and aspect of my life. Keep the good coming!!! Oh and dont be sad that it is over, be happy it happened.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roomate and I have hosted several people while living in Banff and now a few people here on saltspring. I have only surfed once in Edmonton which was a lot of fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have actually convinced some people to stay longer because we were having such a fun time. All good experiences hosting. Surfed with Zak Attack in edmonton when my roomie and I were there for a 1 day music festival and it was an awesome first time surf!!

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies.... Comedy, planet Earth and the Deep Blue Sea!!!!!!! amazing!!! the ones that make you feel uplifted, documentaries because they get you thinking outside of your daily bubble, even though they sometimes get my blood boiling. I dont generally watch scary movies, I dont enjoy feeling stressed out if I dont have to be. I enjoy most music, not a huge fan of heavy metal or lets say.. opera, not my first pick. but other than that I am open to just about anything. I need to start reading more, I have been reading cook books lately, haha. but I have a library card now so hopefully I will change that and get my read on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have driven from ontario to Pender Island BC. I have seen the most beautiful lightning show, right before a light show. Can't think of much else but give me time and I will definetely add to this list!!!!!! Spent 6 months in Banff, Alberta working at sunshine village. met some epic amazing people. so far, by far the best 6 months of my life. I almost get goosebumps just thinking about it!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some cool hullahoop tricks, and I would also love to learn more tricks myself. I want to learn anything other people will share with me, their beliefs, their knowledge, their stories.
