About Me

I'm just another girl that really, REALLY doesn't want the typical boring American life. My dream is not to get married, raise kids, have a two story house with a dog, work a 9-5 job, retire, die (although, if that's your dream power to you). Right now, I want to see the world more than anything else and let everything else fall into place. I'm on the quieter side, but trust me I'm very polite and a great listener! I'm always up for an adventure. Some things that are close to my heart are traveling, writing, photography, food, supernatural/bizarre things, and animals.

I'm not hosting because I live with my family currently, maybe one day!

My next big trip is to Berlin, Germany!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an aspiring travel blogger and I think that a great way to have things to actually blog about is by staying with locals! I'd rather meet new people from all over the world and build connections than stay at a hotel by myself or with people I see all the time (family, friends). Of course, if you're the type of host who won't be around or just wants me out of your way that's 100% okay because staying somewhere for cheap is another reason I'm on here (I'm a student that works in retail, not exactly filthy rich). You don't need to hang out with me if you don't want to, I'll just be grateful you're letting me stay!

Music, Movies, and Books

This is such a hard thing to answer? I generally like a lot of different types of music, but lean most towards alternative/pop punk music. My favorite movie is We Need to Talk About Kevin. I love horror, indie films, documentaries, and cheesy romantic comedies. I'm one of those people who read a lot when I was a kid, but hasn't read a book in awhile. I really want to get back into reading though and I'm not picky at all, so if you have recommendations let me know!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I've done a lot of amazing things! I've traveled to another country to meet a lover for the first time, I've raised premature kittens, I've read poetry in front of large audiences, I've swam in a waterfall. Lots more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some English if you want (I'm an English major and I went to an arts high school for writing), take care of your pets (I have lots of experience with cats and dogs), clean your house, cook some things, interview you for my travel blog if you're into that, bring you some stuff from Florida, listen to your problems, grab coffee with you.
