About Me
I am a 20 year old currently on my year abroad studying in Paris as part of Law with French Law degree. Outside of my degree I love to perform in shows, play my guitar (having finally got started on my dream of learning this instrument this year), to cook, to sing, and to volunteer. I listen to a lot of music and podcasts, like No Such Thing as a Fish, in my free time. I really love dancing, but I'm not very good at it (I only did ballet up to the age of 5 and then recently a bit of contemporary dance).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love travelling and after having travelled independently more recently, I have come to realise that one of my favourite parts of travelling is getting to know people and their cultures from all over the world. In 2017 when I went to Peru, I met a Couchsurfing host as well as the guests he was hosting. I found it fascinating to learn all about their cultures, experiences, and interests.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love acoustic "indie" music. My favourite artists definitely include Rex Orange County, Alex Vargas, and Tom Odell. I am constantly trying to expand my taste; this year I strayed outside the genre of boys with their guitar/piano and got into Childish Gambino, having the fortune to see him live at Lovebox festival.
Choosing my favourite movies and books is a bit harder. In terms of my favourite film this year, I really loved "A Star is Born", few films make me cry, but this film really surprised me, I had no idea how every aspect of it was going to be. As for my favourite book, I think
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2017, I went out to Peru for 5 weeks during the summer to teach English at the age of 18. I stayed with a host family during this term; they didn't speak much English (only the older daughter really spoke it to close to a conversational standard) and I didn't speak much Spanish at all. Nonetheless, over the five weeks I really got to know and love them, and I also managed to improve my Spanish a lot. I loved meeting their friends, everyone at the school, and a variety of people at the hostels. I would love to
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I have experience teaching English, so am very happy to do some tutoring/classes of a sort.
Learn: I love learning new languages as well as learning how to cook new cuisines.
Share: I love baking (and cooking), so would be happy to bake and cook for/with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing the Scottish culture - I can teach ceilidh dancing (the traditional Scottish country dances) and Scottish recipes.
