ABOUT ME

I am a happy,healthy person, fortunate enough to be living In Olympia, WA. I love the outdoors. Very inspired by all my fellow travelers who have passed through town and spent time with me. It has been very impactful to see folks taking time out of the usual life and traveling the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Get out there and live. Now is the time that I have been waiting for. It is all about sharing the love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always preferred staying with people and in the midwest I think it is more common. I have only formally couchsurfed one time in Bellingham, but am looking forward to doing way more of it. I certainly serve as an ambassador telling all my clients and friends about the whole scene. I get a variety of reactions, but I keep telling people this is an enriching experience!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I recently got a chance to go on a hike with 2 couchsurfers and, in a random way we ran into volunteers who were netting our local bat colony. I got to see little bats (all female) within inches. So amazing. They had little mouths full of tiny teeth and they were chomping on the guys thumb, but it didn't even break the skin. I loved bats before, but now even more.

People who are different than myself. I would love to learn to cook different cuisines. I am a pretty good dancer and a competent outdoor person.
