Librarian, writer, musician and general creative guy. I like to help people, get to know them, and engage with various creative endeavours. Conversely, I also like my own solitary time to explore and reflect.

If it's not working for you, then try something else. Life's too short to spend engaged in unsatisfying activities. Be creative, and think outside the square.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like balance. I work hard, but I also like plenty of time off. I socialise often, but I also like quiet me-time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like meeting people, so if I'm passing through a town with couchsurfers, then I'll look at staying with one of them. Done a bit of couchsurfing in NZ and SE Asia, but looking at doing more, as well as hosting once I'm in a country that's a bit more flexible about these things. :)

Intereses

I like creative ventures, whether they be literature, crafts, theatre, dance, poetry, song. I to write and perform songs and stories. I also enjoy swing dancing. I'm often working as a librarian, which means that I can travel to literary festivals, and then claim tax deductions on all of my expenses.

Climbing to the top of Miyajima Island on a hot spring day, to find the most spectacular view at the peak... and Asahi Super Dry for sale (and, unsurprisingly, a soft drink machine).

An afternoon of social swing dancing at the Great Wall of China.

New Years Eve in Kuala Lumpur, with midnight fireworks at the Petronas Towers.

I teach swing dancing from time to time, and definitely like to go social dancing, if there's some going on in your town!
