ABOUT ME

I'm just finished my Masters in Library Science with a concentration in archives and a specialty in film preservation. I got my bachelor's in English with a concentration in film studies and a minor in music. I love movies more than anything in the world, with music and books tied at a close second.

I'm temporarily living in the DFW area.

I like being outdoors-hiking, camping, geocaching, bicycling, and more recently running. I hate sitting still for too long or staying inside on a beautiful day.

I love traveling, though it's hard to find the time and money, but I do as much as I can.

I also have an affinity for karaoke and dive bars.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life to the fullest every day. I make it my goal to fall asleep every night with no regrets. I used to be someone who was constantly negative, constantly down, and one day I woke up and decided to change, and my life has been better for it!

Movies: This is always a hard one, but I'll try to narrow it down. Vanilla Sky, Fight Club, 500 Days of Summer, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, High Fidelity, M, Almost Famous, Annie Hall, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Harold and Maude, Star Wars, Love Actually, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Royal Tenenbaums, Mulholland Drive, and so many others. I really love movies.

TV shows (even though it didn't ask for these): Daria, Arrested Development, The Office (both US and UK), Freaks and Geeks, 30 Rock, Battlestar Galactica, House, How I Met Your Mother, Dexter, Weeds, Chuck, It's Always Sunny

I've hung out with Jason Segel (the guy from Forgetting Sarah Marshall). It was totally random and amazing.
