ABOUT ME

I am a 42 year old woman (Corey) and my husband is 46 (Erik) and we live in a 98 year old house with our kids Siena (8) and Alistair (5.) My goal is to travel the world and I have currently only been in 16 countries so I have a lot of work to do. I'm a leo so I love being the center of attention and talking. My kids seem to be turning out very similar to their mother: very comfortable meeting new people, very energized by it. My husband is quieter and gets his energy by working on the house and being by himself so it's a good balance.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a new age, Zen kind of girl. I believe in psychic phenomena, the Power of Now, power of positive thought, reincarnation. I just came home from visiting a friend who has cancer so more than every, I believe in living life to the fullest and doing it now rather than putting anything off.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We met up with a couch surfer in India and it was so fun to have someone to take us shopping, help us with the language and hang out with.

Interests

I've played soccer since 4th grade, love to read, travel and hang out with friends. I scrapbook every month and am in a monthly bookclub too. I started up a MOMS Club to help me keep my sanity while staying at home with my kids so I enjoy getting together with those moms and kids too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My husband and I adopted both our children from Kazakhstan so we've spent 17 weeks in Kazakhstan. We are very familiar with Alamty and Karaganda and the orphanage system in Kazakhstan. I went backpacking in Europe after college for 3 months which I've always been glad I had the opportunity to do.
