PHILOSOPHY

be happy, don't focus on the bad! everything is what you make it.

if your not happy you are not doing it right. i think that everyone can and should be happy. sad is another emotion but how can someone be sad all the time, that i don't understand. i live my life by learning. i like to speak to people and see what they have been through. advice from a person who has already done something is the best.

my mind is constantly thinking. sometimes i go through phases of deep thought. sometimes i go through phases of no thought, and just living. i seek to find a balance between the two as i continue to live my (awesome :) life.

simply put "be simply be" ---> i exist in the moment :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i surf and have yet to host. been to one CS meet-up in Austin TX. plan on getting more involved as this site is picking up momentum! I have surfed in europe (Paris) and across the USA as i completed a road trip from Jacksonville Beach FL to Napa Valley CA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This site is cool, but the website is constantly changing, making it hard to complete searches and find what i am looking for. everyone that has hosted me have been very intelligent and intellectual. I enjoy seeing a city thru a locals eyes, and this site makes that possible. I cant wait to host people and show them around town!

i dont read much, but i do enjoy any and all cook books, atlas's, buddhist/zen materials,

i enjoy certain movies, especially german films. i like visually stunning films and enjoy intricate plot/story lines. tarantino and wes anderson rock!

i love music. i am constantly finding new artists and listening to new genres. i enjoy: electronic music mainly, but also enjoy dance, hip-hop, r&b, lounge/downtempo, house, acid, chill, reggae, funk, etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

i have seen many amazing things, but recently i saw the dali lama speak at my university in ohio. it was truly amazing to hear his holiness speak!
Also enjoy endless views, and the stars never cease to amaze me and remind me just how small i am.
