I may seem quite shy at the beginning, but I become outgoing and cheerful if I feel at ease with someone! I am very kind and sunny, and helpful with everyone.
I catch every occasion to talk different languages and to know people who have stories and experience different from mine, it's a form of curiosity about the world and its beautiful variety!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have used CS until now only to meet up with people - it was always a positive experience. I love that it's like having potential friends all over when you are away - and you already know that you have a lot in common, first of all the desire of really meeting each other and share something- or seeing your usual old hometown from a different point of view.

Otherwise I am a "fresher", as a host and as a guest!! so I am really excited to start the real couch experience.

Interests

I'm fond of all that concerns architecture, food and ways of living in different countries.
My other passion is singing - I've been singing in a choir for countless years now! I also sing in a band with some friends of mine - I love performing on a stage, when I sing I forget about everything and everyone around me...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading and I do it everywhere possible (the tube is perfect for that, lots of extra time for reading), Oscar Wilde and T.s. Elliot in particular. As teenager I had the dream of reading ALL the classic, without realizing that they are potentially infinite and that the list grows with time. Still hope I can keep up.
Incursions in contemporary Italian and internationsl writers (but I shouldn.t lose too much time or I will miss the classics).

Not fuzzy for Music taste, from classical to jazz, rock, deep house...
Love live muic and going to gigs, especially if they are small, unexpectedly great and if I know someone playing.

I love very dramatic / psychological / complicated movies, such as Her, La grande bellezza, Shutter Island... Well, I also enjoyed Silver lining Playbook, just to make me seem less depressed. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping for the Bloukrans Bridge in South Africa during the Garden Route (I didn't know where my friends where leading me!) - April 2015:
tha Camino de Santiago from Sarria (111 km) but as soon a I have enough free time, I want to do it all.
