On my first adventure

ABOUT ME

Call me Lidi. I’m a Brazilian who’s trying to get to know this big place called Earth. Since I was a little girl I wanted to go to Europe and here I am right now. Now that I achieved this goal I don’t know what to do (Currently accepting suggestions). I haven’t couchsurfed yet but I look forward to have this experience. I really do believe in sharing dreams, stories maybe drinks and food.

To get to know people. I want to know them and their background. I want to sit and listen to their stories. I want to know where they came from, where they are going, why they’re traveling, what they’re looking for. I’m very curious and a very good listener.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love reading even though I’m not doing it enough. I can’t say who is my favorite author but Harlan Coben can do no wrong. Every one of his books is just perfect. So that gives an idea of what genre I like to read.

I used to love electronic music and listen to it all the time. Lately, I’m not into that anymore. I’ve been listening to Rosalía (a Spanish singer) and Rüfüs du Sol (an Australian trio that makes a different and very chill kind of electronic music).

About movies, it’s very hard to choose but I think my favorite movie is Interstellar. It’s a masterpiece if you think that physics and black holes are very complex but somehow Christopher Nolan managed to make it a little understandable.

I can teach Portuguese (but it’s a difficult language) and English. I don’t think I have any talents but I can talk about anything. I can show you my perspective of this world and how we should be nicer to each other. I can tell you a bit about occidental history. Or I always know the most random kind of information. For example, a feel years ago there were days that Mars was warmer than Canada.

As I pessimist I don’t think I have enough to share but I always try. I can’t cook well but I will get the best takeaway and I always wash the dishes. I can share a bit of what I know. It can be about Brazil, the places I’ve been.
